A quiz for the bride's people
50 How Well Do You Know the Bride Questions
Fifty original questions for a bridal shower, a hen do, or a bachelorette. They are grouped so a mixed room can stay warm, and a circle of close friends can go a step further, without turning the bride into the joke.
How to play how well do you know the bride
One person reads. Everyone else guesses, and the bride answers last. That order is the game. If she answers first, the room is only nodding. If the group debates a wrong guess after she has spoken, the quiz becomes a correction, and she spends her own party defending ordinary facts.
Small groups can say the guess out loud. If people will copy the loudest friend, use a slip of paper or a notes app kept face down, then read them together. With six or more, split into two teams for a few questions only. Each team offers one guess. Then sit back down as one conversation. A hen do or a shower this size does not need a tournament bracket.
Ask her which topics are closed
Do it before anyone else arrives. Common ones are exes, money, the dress, family arguments, and anything she has not told her partner. Write them in your own notes. Skip a question that touches them. Do not read the veto list to the room.
A point for a matching guess is optional. Wrong guesses score nothing, and they are not a forfeit. If the room hates points, drop them. She corrects one detail and you move on. A pass is a full turn, including for the bride. "I don't want to answer that" ends the question. The reader does not offer a softer version unless the bride asks for one.
Use the lists in order, and stop where the guest list stops. A bridal shower with parents, colleagues, or neighbours should stay on the first four themes: her week, the friendships, the couple in public, and what she actually likes. A mixed hen do uses the same four. The hen party games at home are the wider plan for that room. A bachelorette of close friends can add the fifth list. The bachelorette party questions are a different shape, stories and trivia rather than a quiz, if you want a break from scoring. The one-phone bachelorette guide is the hour-by-hour version.
These questions assume the people playing are adults who can choose what they share. They are specific on purpose, and they are not a roast. If a guess would embarrass her in front of someone she only just introduced, skip it. You can always ask what she drinks in the morning. You cannot un-ask a question about a story she told one friend and not the room.
10 questions about her actual week
Habits, not history. They work when half the room has only just met, because the bride can answer without telling a private story.
- What does she order when she cannot decide?
- Coffee, tea, or neither before she will hold a conversation?
- What time does she claim she goes to bed on a weeknight, and what time is closer?
- Which snack disappears first if she is the one in the kitchen?
- What does she wear when she is working from the sofa?
- Which app does she open before she has put her bag down?
- What does "I'm not hungry" turn into twenty minutes later?
- In a taxi, does she sit quietly, give directions, or narrate the route?
- Which chore does she do without being asked, and which one will she negotiate?
- Where do her keys actually live?
10 questions the friend group should know
Useful when school friends, work friends, and family are on the same sofa. A wrong answer here is usually funny, not exposing.
- Who in this room did she know first?
- What phrase does she use so often that someone here can finish it?
- Who would she text first with news that has nothing to do with the wedding?
- Which trip or day out does she still describe as if it were last month?
- What gift has she given that this group still mentions?
- Which song does the group attach to her, whether she likes that or not?
- When a friend is upset, does she bring advice, food, or quiet company?
- What plan has she cancelled and then apologised for twice?
- What ordinary kindness does she do without announcing it?
- Which friend would she trust to pack a weekend bag for her?
10 questions about the couple
Only facts she has already told people. If the room would be hearing it for the first time, it is not a quiz question.
- Where did they meet, in the version she tells at dinner?
- Who sends the message that says you are on your way?
- What do they eat when nobody wants to choose?
- Who is more likely to remember a birthday outside the couple?
- What does a normal Saturday look like, according to her?
- Who says sorry first?
- What show, sport, or hobby has she already described as theirs?
- What did she say she liked about her partner before this room had met them?
- Who notices a missing charger, and who is the reason it is missing?
- What nickname or shorthand has the group actually heard them use?
10 questions about taste and the next year
Preferences and plans she has mentioned. Skip any question about children, budgets, or a honeymoon detail she has not shared.
- Given a free weekend, would she pick a city, a beach, or a house where nobody dresses up?
- What would she add to a Sunday that is not a wedding task?
- Which cuisine does she suggest when the table cannot agree?
- What skill has she said she wants, without having started it yet?
- What was the last book, podcast, or series she actually finished?
- What does she notice first in someone else's kitchen?
- Has she already said she wants a morning ceremony or a long evening?
- What place has she mentioned taking her partner that is not a brochure honeymoon?
- Would she rather be given something useful, or something she would not buy herself?
- What tradition has she said she wants to keep, from her family or from this group?
10 questions for a bachelorette or a late hen do
Tells and opinions, not secrets. Leave this list out of a shower, and out of any hen do where she has not said the whole group wants it.
- What excuse does she use when she wants to leave?
- Which film will she defend after the group has already groaned?
- What does she do with her phone when she is avoiding a reply?
- Who would she ask to help her write a difficult message?
- What opinion about clothes or hair will she not drop?
- What is her tell when she is trying not to laugh?
- Which topic makes her talk faster?
- What small luxury does she buy without guilt?
- What does she say she is bad at, that this group has watched her do well?
- Which compliment does she wave off, and then quietly keep?
If a smaller group of adults wants a franker round after family has gone, that is a separate choice. The 18+ question guide explains the opt-in deck. It is not the next page of this quiz. For a confession game between quiz rounds, the Never Have I Ever questions and the truth or dare questions keep the pass rule. Open questions, rather than facts about the bride, are on the girls night questions to ask.
Play the bride round when you are done reading
This page is a quiz a host reads. The phone game is a different round, and it does not contain these 50 questions. Open Girls Night Games and turn Bride Mode on in the category list. It is off when the game opens, so a normal girls night does not become a bride round by accident. Bride Mode is a deck of memories, compliments, wishes, and playful prompts for the bride and her people. It is not a scored quiz, and nobody has to guess a correct answer.
Set the level to Chill for a shower or a mixed hen do. Fun is the middle. Spicy stays off until the bride asks for it. Icebreakers, Truth, Challenge, and Most Likely To are separate categories. Leave them off if you only want the bride round, or bring Most Likely To in when you want the group to point instead of guess. The Most Likely To questions are the written version of that vote. The no-equipment games cover the gap if the phone needs a charge.
After Dark is an optional 18+ deck with its own confirmation. It does not belong at a shower, and it does not belong in a round the bride has not opted into. Pass one phone, sit where everyone can hear, and start with the first 6 cards free. If Chill with Bride Mode on fits the room, keep going. If it does not, you still have the lists above.
Let one phone deal the bride round.
Turn Bride Mode on, leave the level on Chill for a mixed room, and pass the phone. This quiz stays on the page. The deck is a different set of cards.

How do you play how well do you know the bride?
The reader asks one question. Everyone guesses, out loud or on a slip of paper, and the bride gives the answer. A matching guess can be worth a point if you are keeping score. If you are not, she corrects one detail and you move on. Her answer is the answer.
Can you play this at a bridal shower?
Yes. Use the everyday, friendship, couple, and taste lists. Skip the close-friends list if parents, colleagues, or newer guests are in the room. A shower does not need a score, and the bride can pass.
What changes at a hen do or a bachelorette?
A mixed hen do should stay on the same four lists and keep the tone classy. A bachelorette of close friends can add the fifth list. Still skip exes, money, and anything she has not already said in this room. Anyone can pass, including the bride.
Do we need paper or teams?
No. Saying the guess out loud is enough for a small group. Paper helps when people want to answer at the same time. With six or more, two short teams can each offer one guess. Come back to one conversation afterwards.
Is this list the Bride Mode deck?
No. These 50 questions are a quiz you read. Bride Mode is a separate category in the phone game: memories, compliments, wishes, and playful prompts for the bride and her people. It is off until you turn it on, and it is not a scored version of this page. The first 6 cards are free.
